Course Objectives Students should learn basic features of the Bosnian language as a foreign language at the level of initial intermediate course that represents a basic knowledge of the characteristics of the Bosnian spoken and written language; Active usage of the Bosnian language as a foreign language;
Textbook Assistant Prof. Dr. Mirzana Pašić Kodrić & Elna Kurtović-Šabotić: "Reader for Spoken Bosnian II" (Available in IUS Copy Store & Online in Microsoft 365 - Teams)
Learning Outcomes After successful  completion of the course, the student will be able to:
  1. Define, decribe, identifie Bosnian language on intermediate level by usage of major 4 language skills;
  2. Intercultural communication, competence, sensibility in Bosnian language as a second language;
  3. Genitive and Accusative case (More on national food & drinks)
  4. Vocabulary practice, My life in Sarajevo;
  5. Comparision of adjectives, Dative case (The world of different medias)
  6. More about Present Tense, Future and Past Tense in Bosnian language
  7. More about Present Tense, Future and Past Tense in Bosnian language
Teaching Methods Class discussions with examples. Active tutorial sessions for engaged learning and continuous feedback on progress. Team assigments. Team projects that involve real data, computer analysis, summary, interpretation and reporting.
