Course Objectives This course aims to provide students with knowledge on the branch of Economics devoted to investigating philosophies, structures and performances of various Economic systems.

Learning Outcomes After successful  completion of the course, the student will be able to:
  1. Recall basic roots and principles of different economic systems.
  2. Recognize culture, politics, and market institutions.
  3. Explain the Operation of Market Economy and Economies in Transition
  4. Explain the Differences among various economies
  5. Compare the potential, performance measurement, and global performances among different economies.
  6. Explain the concepts of Planned & Participatory economies and Third way
Teaching Methods The methods include lectures (which may involve power point presentation, video and audio aids) and class discussions
