Course Objectives This course aims to equip students with the theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and pedagogical strategies necessary to effectively design, deliver, and assess instruction in their chosen field of study. Through a combination of lectures, discussions, readings, and hands-on activities, students will develop a deep understanding of learning theories, instructional design principles, and assessment techniques. They will also gain practical experience in planning and delivering lessons, managing classroom dynamics, and evaluating student learning. By the end of the course, students will be able to apply their knowledge and skills to create engaging, effective, and inclusive learning experiences for diverse learners.

Learning Outcomes After successful  completion of the course, the student will be able to:
  1. describe the fundamental assumptions about teaching and learning;
  2. describe the importance of an informed approach in developing teaching and assessment techniques;
  3. state the role of brain research in developing student-centered teaching approaches;
  4. reflect on the issues that cause debates among educators;
  5. evaluate teaching plans.
