Course Objectives The purpose of this course is to familiarize the students with the international components of business regarding legal, political, and cultural differences, human resource management, and leadership in the global environment.

Learning Outcomes After successful  completion of the course, the student will be able to:
  1. Explain the global business environment and how it affects the strategic and operational decisions.
  2. Identify the challenges involved in human rights issues when operating around the world.
  3. Implement cross-cultural business negotiations skills.
  4. Explain the strategic importance to the firm of the IHRM function and its various responsibilities.
  5. Compare the complexity and the variables involved in cross-cultural motivation and leadership.
