Course Objectives This is a required course designed to introduce students to the theoretical and practical understanding of Property Law. The course focuses mainly on introduction to Property Law and institutes of possession, ownership (principles, types, protection), land law, servitudes and lien.

Learning Outcomes After successful  completion of the course, the student will be able to:
  1. Define issues related to possession
  2. Apply basics of real estate registry
  3. Relate and compare co-ownership and other institutes
  4. Analyze issues arising in positive legislation on property law in civil and common law countries
Teaching Methods Active discussions for engaged learning and continuous feedback on progress, research assignments-comparative analysis, student presentations, case study, ex cathedra lecture, midterm and final exams.
