Course Objectives This course examines the aesthetics and theories of motion picture editing and the technical aspects of digital video editing. Students examine and evaluate editing techniques by watching selected clips and engaging in critical discourse on topics such as linkage, montage, rhythm, timing and continuity.

Learning Outcomes After successful  completion of the course, the student will be able to:
  1. Evaluate advanced editing techniques with team effort.
  2. Familiarize with aesthetics of motion picture editing
  3. Learn many advanced features, including tips andtechniques for using the latest version of Adobe Premiere CC software.
  4. Apply critical and group thinking in critiques of peer projects through synchronous and asynchronous responses
  5. Complete set of powerful and exclusive tools lets student overcome any editorial, production, and workflow challenges to deliver the high-quality work, field demand.
