Course Objectives The course is designed to involve students in the technological environment of both live and recorded video productions. Students will learn: proper camera framing, video editing, the main elements of news packages and how to put one together, shot sequences, onair performance, how to effectively produce a school broadcast, how to operate the switcher and cameras, ingesting graphics into the switcher, how to produce a show using a virtual set, and operating camera.

Learning Outcomes After successful  completion of the course, the student will be able to:
  1. differentiate the different broadcasting techniques such as AM, FM and TV
  2. design AM, FM and TV broadcasting network which includes coverage mapping and interference.
  3. produce video principles and film grammar and use it in efficient way.
  4. identify and analyze the broadcast communications systems concepts, elements and applications.
  5. Create genuine concept from the scratch which can evolve into serious esthetic motion content.
