Course Objectives  Teach the terms, laws and methods related to the electromagnetic field.

Week 2  Electrostatics: Coulomb's Law, Electrostatic Field and Field Lines, Electrostatic Potential and Potential Energy  
Week 3  Electrostatics: Gauss and Poisson equations, Dirac distribution of the different types and Load Distributions  
Week 4  Electrostatics: Field and Constitutive Equations, Boundary Conditions, and Principles of Electrostatic Problem  
Week 5  Electrostatic: Equivalent Problems and Sources (Image Policy), Electrostatic Energy Density Capacitors and Capacitor Concept  
Week 6  Electrostatics: Application  
Week 7  Magnetostatic: Lorentz Force, Current Field and the BiotSavart law and Fundamental Equations of magnetostatic vector potential. MIDTERM EXAM  
Week 8  Magnetostatic: Area and Constitutive Equations, Boundary Conditions, Effect of current circuits to each other (Ampere's Formula)  
Week 9  Magnetostatic: circulation of the magnetic field (amperes formula), the concept of magnetic circuit  
Week 10  Magnetostatic: Magnetic Energy Density, Conducting Media and Static Electromagnetic Fields, Magnetic dipoles and Hard Magnets  
Week 11  Electromagnetism: Maxwell's equations, Faraday induction
