Course Objectives The course aims to explores major microeconomic and macroeconomic concepts in a non-formal way.In addition it examines current characteristics and major developments of the European economy after World War II. Among questions to be addressed in the course are: Which factors have contributed to the massive economic growth in Europe after World War II? Which structural differences among European economies exist and how did these emerge over time? To which extent and in which way did European market integration contribute to economic growth and welfare?
