Course Objectives This course presents the dominant perspectives on learning, teaching, and curriculum design. It helps foreign language teacher trainees develop personal techniques for effective curriculum evaluation, adaptation, and implementation. The course examines the principles of teaching materials selection and design.

Learning Outcomes After successful  completion of the course, the student will be able to:
  1. describe dominant perspectives on the curriculum design process;
  2. define the aspects of effective curriculum implementation;
  3. modify teaching materials for the purposes of a specific context;
  4. evaluate various types of curricula and teaching materials;
  5. develop a short-term curriculum.
