Course Objectives 1. to provide foundational knowledge in key concepts of genocide studies
2. to offer an overview of the most important cases in genocide as well as recent development in this area
3. to improve skills of students in area of discussion and critical thinking

Learning Outcomes After successful  completion of the course, the student will be able to:
  1. Demonstrate and interpret the most important issues in genocide
  2. Identify examples of historical change and continuity as they relate to genocide
  3. Competently analyse historical, political, cultural, social and economic dimensions of genocide
  4. Apply theories and ideas discussed in the readings and lectures to specific issues
