Course Objectives To learn students basic features of the Bosnian language as a foreign language at the level of elementary rate, which represents elementary knowledge of the elementary characteristics of the Bosnian spoken and written language as well as intercultural differences and similarities between Turkish and Bosnian culture
Textbook Dr. Mirzana Pašić Kodrić & Elna Kurtović-Šabotić: Reader for Spoken Bosnian I (Available in IUS Copy Store)
Learning Outcomes After successful  completion of the course, the student will be able to:
  1. Define, describe, identify Bosnian language on elementary level by usage of major 4 language skills
  2. Estimate & Individually participate in the learning processes through the usage of appropriate language
  3. Demonstrate, operate & discover Bosnian language on elementary level
  4. Compare Bosnian language with his/her native language and other languages
  5. Analyse, compare and discover intercultural differences and similarities as well as a link between Bosnian and Turkish culture and/or other
Teaching Methods Class discussions with examples. Active tutorial sessions for engaged learning and continuous feedback on progress. Team assignments. Team projects that involve real data, computer analysis, summary, interpretation and reporting
