Course Objectives Aims of this course are to: • Provide you with ways of thinking / talking about, looking at, questioning and finding value in art /design forms. • Have enhanced their ability to think visually, and communicate ideas in visual ways. • Be familiar with the components of design and fine arts, and be able to use design language to discuss and evaluate designed objects and artwork.

Learning Outcomes After successful  completion of the course, the student will be able to:
  1. Enhance their ability to think visually and communicate ideas in a visual way
  2. Familiarize with the components of design and fine arts through assigned readings and in class lectures
  3. Use design language to elaborate ideas visually and follow it with proper oral vocabulary
  4. Identify and apply Elements and Principles of design
  5. Apply artistic critique in their own work and other works of art and to discuss and evaluate designed objects at a intermediate level
