Abstract

In this work, a microstrip filter was designed, simulated, built and tested for different microwave applications. In the micro strip design, a low-pass filter is designed. The purpose of the filter is to create a characteristic with a wide stop band. This model has been given a filter model. Improvements have been made to increase the efficiency of the filter. It has a wide band extending from 1.7 GHz to 3.7 GHz with a cut-off frequency of 1.8 GHz obtained in filter design. The obtained filter can be used for modern microwave applications. Simulation and measurement results are in very good agreement.
