Course Objectives
The objective of this course is to explore the theories, principles, and contemporary research in Islamic finance. It covers Shari’ah-compliant financial systems, including Islamic banking, Sukuk markets, risk-sharing instruments, and ethical finance. Emphasis is placed on critically analyzing academic research, evaluating empirical methodologies, and developing original research ideas in Islamic finance.
