Course Objectives

This course will teach students how to interview with the clients, to make an accurate assessment, to understand the psychotherapeutic communication techniques.

Learning Outcomes

After successful completion of the course, the student will be able to:

Apply the psychotherapeutic assessment and therapeutic planning,

Apply the communication skills in psychotherapy and counseling
3
Demonstrate boundaries, contracting and beginning, ending, process and outcome goals in psychotherapy
4
Apply psychotherapy and counseling skills in accordance with ethics.
5
Apply the therapeutic skills for assessing the suicidal thoughts.

Promote mental health and well-being by working to raise awareness of suicidal behaviors in line with SDG's 3.4.2.

Promote mental health and well-being by working to raise awareness of substance use disorders in line with SDG's 3.5.1.
