| Abstract | In this study, wind characteristics and energy potential of IUS Campus region is investigated. Assessment of the site is carried out by using turbulent flow models. Commercial software STAR CCM+ was used to solve turbulent flow equations. STAR CCM+ is a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software package that solves Navier-Stokes equations that define fluid flow, by using numerical techniques. |
