| Abstract | Goal - The aim was to determine the impact of diet on incidence of dental carries.Methods - A cross-sectional quantitative study with stratified random sample of 804 participantswas utilized. Population consisted of primary school children in Canton Central Bosnia. Thealternate research hypothesis was that “there is a significant statistical difference in incidence ofdental carries regarding the territorial prevalence in Central Bosnia research area” and that “dietfactors particularly influence the incidence of dental carries”. Conclusion - According to theresearched results, diet has an effect on the occurrence of dental carries. |
