Course Objectives The course aims are to get students familiar with design of new structures within cultural urban context.

Learning Outcomes After successful  completion of the course, the student will be able to:
  1. Analyse site location and urban surrounding from different perspectives and prepare analysis report
  2. Identify design requirements and constraints and define detailed project brief
  3. Formulate idea and prepare conceptual design of a new building to be built between two or more existing structures
  4. Demonstrate ability to apply modern design methodology and latest technical and technological solutions
Teaching Methods Lectures, case studies, drawing assignments. Students have one lecture and one hour of practical work in a week. Learning comprises of knowledge acquisition and practical use of that knowledge. Consultations with professor and assistants should be used to maximize acquisition of knowledge. Students will work on a project according to professor's instruction. Homework assignments should also help students in individual training.
