Course Objectives To provide a working knowledge of operational amplifiers and their applications, their frequency response and achieve competency in the use of computer aided design tools for op-amp circuitry modeling, analysis, and design.

Learning Outcomes After successful  completion of the course, the student will be able to:
  1. Analyze analog circuits containing active components - operational amplifiers, with respect to gain and stability,
  2. Design various simple active LP and HP filters that incorporate operational amplifiers,
  3. Use simulation software for analog devices,
  4. Formulate findings from laboratory experiments as a report.
Teaching Methods Lectures, home study, lab exercises, class discussions, individual project, lab notebook, engineering reports.
