Course Objectives Students are broadening their knowledge of the legislation of criminal procedure based on the opposing tendencies of the functionality of the criminal proceedings and the protection of citizens' rights in historical and comparative legal aspect. Students will be introduced with all stages of regular criminal procedure, its flow, legal remedies and special criminal procedures.

Learning Outcomes After successful  completion of the course, the student will be able to:
  1. Understand the flow of criminal procedure;
  2. Differ stages of criminal procedure, actions undertaken in them, role of criminal law subjects in each of these stages;
  3. Differenciate and summarize special criminal proceedings.
  4. Develop writting skills for selected legal documents in criminal procedure;
  5. Preform all steps of criminal procedure.
