Course Objectives

Individual Supervision II provides structured, one-on-one supervision to support the development of students’ clinical competencies, with a focus on therapy skills, case formulation, and personal growth as a therapist. Students present detailed information on client cases, including initial session summaries, assessment outcomes, therapy plans, and observed progress. They are expected to share session recordings for feedback on therapeutic techniques, strengths, and areas for improvement. Personal and professional development is integrated throughout the supervision process. Each student must conduct a minimum of six regular client sessions and submit follow-up reports for comprehensive case monitoring.

Learning Outcomes

After successful completion of the course, the student will be able to:

Demonstrate effective therapy skills in real clinical sessions.

Apply appropriate case formulation techniques based on client assessments.

Develop and adapt individualized therapy plans in response to client progress.

Critically reflect on personal strengths and areas for improvement as a therapist.

Maintain accurate case documentation and follow-up reports in line with ethical standards.
