Course Objectives This course will introduce students to the various approaches to designing and conducting qualitative research. Students will be introduced to how to select and design research projects, and qualitative data collection methods. They will then gain first-hand experience through participation in group research projects. The projects will require students to enter the field to perform qualitative data collection and analysis.

Learning Outcomes After successful  completion of the course, the student will be able to:
  1. Understand different types of research methods and their major features.
  2. Apply their research skills to different topics in social sciences
  3. Analyze, interpret, and present their findings
