Course Objectives | The course will introduce students to certain historical developments within urban development from prehistory up to and including the twentieth century. Lectures and seminars will be conducted each week providing students with contextual information adding to lecture notes which will be provided via Moodle. In order to satisfy the assessment criteria students will be expected to be able to identify key aspects of historical urbanism and styles and understand the reasons for urban development. |

Teaching Methods | The course is a lecture based course. Lectures will be supplemented by in-class quizzes, student presentations and class discussion | |||||||||
Teaching Method Delivery | Online | Teaching Method Delivery Notes | Online teaching will comprise synchronous and asynchronous lectures and presentations. Students are required to attend classes in accordance with IUS regulations. Whilst in class they can expect to be asked to engage in discussion and complete online tasks.
