Course Objectives

Students will practice the acts of lesson planning, instruction and assessment in a Turkish as a foreign language teaching course. They are expected to observe and reflect on the teaching decisions of their course mentors and self-reflect on their own teaching styles and philosophies. They are expected to plan and deliver a lesson.

📚 Student Workload

This 12 ECTS credit course corresponds to 300 hours of total student workload, distributed as follows:

Classroom observation

Writing observation reports

Planning a lesson and writing a detailed lesson plan

20 hours ⏳ (2 week × 10 h)

Delivering / teaching a lesson (preparation included)

Consultation sessions with the teaching mentor

Consultation sessions with the FEDU instructor
