Course Objectives Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, restaurant); can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters; can talk about holidays /weekends or other events in the past.

Learning Outcomes After successful  completion of the course, the student will be able to:
  1. Talk about everyday things (e.g. people, places, job, study) in a basic way.
  2. Talk about their family, relatives and friends.
  3. Make simple transactions in shop. / Use simple phrases to order a meal.
  4. Describe very basic events in the past using simple linking words (e.g. then, next)
  5. Write short text about past events and activities.
  6. Use basic words to describe common weather conditions.
Teaching Methods Communicative method, which involves evenly develop all language skills: reading, writing, expression and understanding. Verbal and written communication. Class discussions with examples, quizzes, exams.
